Silver print, the image measuring 4⅝x3⅝ inches (11.8x9.2 cm.), flush mounted, the secondary mount 8¼x6⅞ inches (21x17.5 cm.), with Weston’s initials and date "1935" in pencil on secondary mount recto, and his signature, title, and date "1935" in pencil on secondary mount verso.

Also known as Carlotta Grisi, Carmelita was an accomplished modern dancer who knew Weston in Santa Monica.
